Oh.my.goodness....... I'm so tired I think I might die...... DS2 always been a shocking sleeper but had lead me to think he was improving until a week ago. I'm pretty sure its THE sleep regression. Sometimes he wakes crying, sometimes shouting Mum and last night it was singing and chatting to himself on and off for hours. It's actually worse than a newborn. I'm so desperate for some decent sleep after 18 months of crap. Who is with me?

I have DD (22months) who also shows no sign of ever wanting to sleep through the night. I think she's getting her back molar teeth too which is not helping. That coupled with the fact that I've just started a new job means I'm on my knees with exhaustion. Its got to end soon .... right?

We just came out of it a couple of weeks ago. It was absolutely miserable, and I started a new job right in the middle of it too - was absolutely on my knees with exhaustion.

Good(?) news is that it was shorter lived than the awful 4 and 9 and 12 month regressions. She is still a pretty awful sleeper, but at least back to a level I can manage with.

How long did it last for you 53rd? I'm pretty sure I saw every hour last night. I look about 60 years old this morning, the toddler on the other hand is full of beans!

I think about 3 weeks, with a bit of rough-but-not-totally-horrendous sleep on either end. Not every night was an awful one though just most...
