quick question ds2 prefers to sleep on his side and wakes when rolls over on his back. Ds1 was similar and to prevent him from rolling we use rolled up towels under the sheet. I have started to do this for ds2 but I feel very uneasy about it. Oh thinks I'm worrying too much. What's everyone's thoughts? Xx

Ps ds2 has a gro bag

dd1 slept on her side I tilted her backwards so if she slipped or rolled it would he onto her back.

dd2 on the other hand would only sleep on her tummy.

not much you can do really. sleep is important fir you and the baby. if he's comfy on his side I'd let him sleep on his side.

there wasn't a person on this planet who could have changed dd2s tummy sleeping

DS slept on his side from birth. I would put him on his back, he'd stick his little legs in the air and roll onto his side. I wasn't too worried as he would brace his feet on the side of the Moses basket which prevented him rolling onto his front.

If he's happy like that I would leave him to it.

I totally forgot I did this for ds1 until oh reminded me and then I was like did i not freak out about it???

If DS has good neck control and is able to lift his head and shoulders off the ground when on his tummy I wouldn't be too worried.

At 19w, he will choose his own sleeping position, especially if he can roll :)
