Baggy eyes, always tired - should it be checked out?

DS, who is 2.8 has recently (for about a month) dropped 2-3 hours pm nap. He's now knackered by 6pm, and following his bedtime routine, which he's always had (bath, story from DH, cuddles, bed) he's conking out really quickly (we try to keep him going so he's asleep about 7pm). However sometimes when I'm up through the night with DD (5 months) I can hear him talking to himself. So bloomin knackered myself, that I normally fall asleep so I've no idea how long he's up for. Then in the morning he's normally up at 6.30-7.30ish, looking really tired - white face, big bags uder eyes. He then spends most of the day tugging at hair which he does when he's needing a nap. Have tried putting him upstairs, but can hear him rampaging round his room as I type!

Query is, do folks think this is this normal and it'll pass, or is it worth getting him checked over by GP to see if there's a reason why he is so tired all the time?

i think it will pass, do you think it had something to do with the clocks changing?
