Hi,
My 8 week old is in a pretty good routine feeding every 3-3.5 and wakes at 7am naps 1 hour in morning, 2 hours at lunch and then another 1hr nap in afternoon the hubby lets him fall asleep on him after his bath and before his 7.30pm bottle for 45 mins. He then will not go down until 9.30/10pm and then im dream feeding an hour later. I feel like I need to reduce his afternoon early eve sleeping but how do I do this without him becoming overtired exhausted and screaming the house down???

My babies had 3 sleeps until 9months.

If you didn't make a typo with the age I suggest he is overtired and needs more sleep in the day. Also it is far too early for a set bedtime, lots of babies like to feed in the evenings. He won't have figured out night or day yet.

Enjoy the cuddles

At 8 weeks? You don't (imo). 8 weeks is still tiny and sleep patterns will change a lot over the next few months. DD didn't start going to bed at 7pm until 4-5 months and even then it was hit and miss.

Thanks for the advice. Think I'll just roll with it then. Its as good as it can be right now and I guess I just don't really know when babies are supposed to have a bedtime by. I will enjoy the cuddles and smiles for now then. Thanku
