Anyone want to do "No cry sleep solution " wth me?

Dd is 7 months and waking several times between midnight and 7 and I am so tired I can barely remember the names of my children. I have bought the Pantley book but it looks a formidable amount of work so I wondered if anyone wanted to join me in a support thread? Apologies if this already exists - too tired to search for threads...
Am going to do the nap logs etc tomorrow.

Hi krabbiepatty, you know me although I've changed my name - think fellow lawyers with three kids!

Good luck with the sleeping, DS3 nearly killed me. FWIW I didn't find the Pantley book useful, but I know others have - hester I know thought it veyr good.

Ahhh, even I can work that one out lizardqueen; we must find a way to meet one of these days although I make little sense at the moment! I have been wondering about using a sleep consultant if Pantley doesn't do it for me but even the thought of talking to one is exhausting!

Oh if you think she wouldn't mind, mi, that would be lovely. reading those books is so hard (she says pitifully). I made some fairycakes for Ds2's school Eid party today and didn't notice the large lumps of unamalgamated butter in the batter until they came out of the oven with strange little holes and pools of butter in the papercases (am struggling now to remember why it was relevant to tell that story...)

Have emailed her. Afraid the only sleep book I garnered from an article on it that I still have isn't one I can name on this site.

krabbiepatty, if you are interested in getting a Sleep Lady type person, Aloha did just that and I could get details of her for you if you like?

The only thing that helped me get DS3 to sleep through in the end was to send DH in to do "pat and shush". Once DS3 realised that there was no Milk Bar option on offer, he kind of gave up and went back to sleep (after a bit of crying it's true, but my sanity was at stake - seriously). I just kept pushing back the time at which I would feed him during the night, iyswim, until I got him sleeping until about 5 a.m. - then I just brought him itno bed with me.

All sympahties, though. When are you going back to work? Would love ot meet for lunch etc, let me know how you're fixed!

LQ, thats what we have been doing with master piggie,, taken about a week or so, had a few tears, but there always is, but that was for dh to deal with.
Now sleeps 7-11, then till about 5, still going and dont feed him till after 6, but then he wants to get up.
