My 10wk old DS has slept through from 11pm till his 7am feed several times, he did it 5 out of 7 nights last week but has started waking up again about 4am and now his dummy wont satify him. does anyone have any advice please on how to get him to last till 7am? (he is bottle fed btw)

I would not worry yet about him sleeping through, he is still very tiny and its a long time for them to go, i am just starting to drop ds noght feeds at 6 months.

He is probably having a growth spurt... how much milk does he take at the last feed.. I mean does he finish the bottle? will he take more?

very early to expect consistent sleeping through...offer milk, likely to be waking from hunger at this age.....11 - 4 is fabulous!

ditto everyone else. he's really too small to expect him to be able to sleep through, even though he has done it in the past.

mumrum - he has anything from 4 - 6 oz at his 10.30/11pm feed

i have been reading some of the threads on the 'sleep' forum and now feeling very pleased and lucky that he is lasting till 4! i think i am just a bit of a control freak expecting him to keep doing it just because he's done it a couple of times.
