sleepyhead grand - worth the money?

What do people think?

We had the original sleepyhead until my LO outgrew it at 6 months and she has been in her cot without it but wakes often - particularly after we have got her down for the night. I am thinking we may invest in one to try and assist her sleep.

Lurking as we're in the same boat with DS2. He sleeps on his tummy, though, so not sure it'd work very well.

Ds has (I think) outgrown the deluxe size already at 4mo. He just looks so cramped up in it. We have ordered the grand size to click and collect tomorrow, as he's used to sleeping in a pod now so i wouldn't want to risk suddenly taking it away.
It's money spent but i swear the pod thing is why he's usually a good sleeper!
If the grand is rubbish or causes problems I'll try to remember to reply here :-)

Great, thanks linguini. Look forward to hearing

My Pbf outgrew the deluxe sleepyhead at 8 weeks so I bought the grand as he was a great sleeper and i didn't want to risk it all going tits up. He's still a great sleeper and self settles during his eleven hour night sleeps. Idontknow if it's the grand that's done it (it's certainly nothing i have done) but i give credit to the grand cause its such a lot of money.

He's starting to roll but the grand prevents him from doing this a night - I can't decide if that's a good or a bad thing ??

Thanks fallada. You are v lucky to have 11 hour sleeper! My LO likes to sleep on side with legs stretched out. Is there room to do this?

Ds slept so soundly in his New big pod! We love the Sleepyhead Grand :-)
TeamB you say sleeping on her side? There is space in the pod for airflow around the head, but I wouldn't want to say it's totally fine as the padding is quite big and your lo might could roll with her face squashed up against the padding? But if she was ok in the smaller size this is no different (apart from bigger obvs).

that is great to hear Linguini. My LO used to sleep fine on her back in the smaller sleepyhead so perhaps she will do that again when she is in the bigger one. still undecided...

Sorry TeamB I really couldn't comment whether the sleepyhead would be ok for your baby to sleep on their side in. As linguini says, the padding around the sides is quite a lot bigger so I don't know if it's safe.
Best of luck

Dh dil asked for one she's due soon but they seem awfully expensive.

My baby love his. He sleeps on his side and hugs the cushion at the side. He sleeps really well in it. Definitely worth the money!
