Toddler wide awake in night!

Ds is 15 months and twice now has woken for no reason I can find, and taken hours to go back to sleep. He's never done this before, even when he was doing night feeds he was usually pretty easily to settle back down.

Last night he woke at 11.30 and wouldn't be settled. We left him in his cot assuming he'd go back naturally but after about 30 mins he got upset. So I assumed something was going on which meant he needed comfort and brought him in with us. 3 hours later and he's still wide awake. I hadn't turned any lights on or talked more than was absolutely necessary etc so I have no idea what it's about.

He usually sleeps at least 11 hours straight. When he was awake he wasn't crying for grumbling and didn't seem ill. He was just wide awake!

Has anyone else had this? He's done it twice in a week now but I can't think of any link between the two days which would explain why.

I'm so tired!

Take a look at the Wonder Weeks - think there is one at 64 weeks which is around 15 months, can totally throw sleep off kilter...!
