Kirsty might he be cueing for milk rather than being uncomfortable in his cot?

Try feeding him when he first starts grumbling, see if that helps?

Are you sure he is trying to get comfy? Could he be hungry? If he is not too hot or too cold, hunger or just needing a cuddle is the next most likely reason a baby will wake. Sometimes when babies master a new skill they also wake more often wanting to practice it, but that usually oy lasts a week or so

Thank you for your replies, he has two bottles in the night as it is 4 always offer it to him when he wakes to see if he's hungry but he turns his head away and shuffles round and rolls over and whinges then falls back to sleep for 15 mins then same happens again. if I cuddle him to soothe him he wakes up wide awake and won't go back down for at least an hour.

Do you think gro bags would work? I'm thinking about whether it's worth trying it. But if he's confined he moans cos he cant move around.

We use them, babies can still crawl a bit, but it is harder.

He isn't teething is he? Calpol?

No trapped wind waking him?

kirstymarle45581 · 19/03/2015 12:01

No trapped wind he is getting his wind out alot more now he's mobile. I think I'll try a gro bag and see how he is. He's just got his first tooth through ever so slightly cutting through. But he's been like this for at least 2 months
