Angel care monitor help please

I'm new and I hope I'm posting in the correct part! I really need help if anyone has an angel care monitor with the movement pad. We used this in the Moses basket and now little ones in her big cot bed, she's placed directly under sensor pad at bottom of the bed but when I pick her up for feeds sometimes it takes longer than 2 minutes for the alarm to detect the baby is no longer in the cot, I realised this from forgetting to turn the sensor off and then it beeping way after removing our baby. I'm confused with the sensitivity, can anyone help? Thanks

The sensitivity dial is on the back of the triangle shape unit I think. Have you got a piece of wood under the sensor mat? In the instructions it says put a piece of wood on the base, sensor pad on top then the mattress. This helps to balance it all etc I think x

Do you mean place her over, rather than under? As the only monitor I know about goes under mattress.

Anyway - could you be knocking the cot? Shaking the floor when you walk?

We had to have a piece of plywood cut to fit the cotbed to go underneath the mattress as per instructions. Then the pad goes on top of the wood, under the mattress. We have the AC1100. The sensitivity is altered on the parent screen. You should be able to Google the instructions if you've lost them. The alarm should go off after 20seconds of no movement but do please check the instructions for the correct advice. For tonight just use the Moses basket as you're all tired and sort it out tomorrow x
