DD is 5.5 months now and has been mix fed sine birth because of prematurity making it difficult to establish exclusive bf.

At bedtime 7.30pmish she has been used to being bf to sleep after a formula feed. I liked doing this, lovely snuggly part of the day, but have recently wanted to go out more in the evenings and I'm also acutely aware that I will be back at work inJan and my shift patterns will mean that I won't always be at home in the evening.

We have had several episodes recently when dd has literally screamed and screamed until I could come and feed her, ewither ff or bf. Dp and I have been late for a meal out because she wouldn't take a bottle from her gm and I've had to return from the cinema because she refused a bottle from dp.

I've given up bf her at bedtime but she is still very reluctant to take ff from anyone but me. She will however ff from gps and dp during the day. Any tips on how to extend this into the eveing?

Also she has started to wake up at 4-5am having previous;y slept through like a dream. My current strategy is to put her into bed next to me and bf her but sometimes this doesnt really work as she is too awake. She gets a dream ff at midnight when we go to bed but this doesnt help the early waking. I'm hoping this might settle once she starts weaning in a couple of weeks.
