We had a cocoonababy for dd. It was the best thing we bought! We had no sleep as she would only sleep on mine or DP's chest so we took it in turns to get a couple of hours sleep at a time and it was knackering. DP bought the cocoonababy and she slept 4 hours at a time in it straight away! We used to put her between us in bed, and it was so handy for travelling too as its really light so we didn't need to lug a travel cot around with us. I'd recommend it to anyone. Totally worth the price.

Exactly the same story as Feliz with the Cocoonababy. DS was massively unimpressed with his bedside crib but slept great in the Cocoonababy (and never again since...).

I wouldn't recommend it if your a family who travel a lot/ need baby to sleep in different places as it often means they won't sleep without it

So even for naps on friends sofa at 2pm I know people who have had to carry it across London on tube so baby would sleep whilst they ate lunch!

As an alternative, have you tried adding flannel cot sheets to cot so it doesn't feel cold transferring them, or adding sheepskin to Moses basket or pram for day naps for same reason

our baby loved the sleepyhead for the first few months was great for downstairs naps when she was very young and great to take to hotels etc to put in unfamiliar crib. she had no problem when we stopped using it at around six months. ours was loaned but i'd definitely buy a new one if we have another baby.
