my ds has never been the dream baby my dd was....my mother always said I'd be lucky to get another one like her. I don't mind (ish) him waking at 0640 - but I'm not a morning person and its geting earlier. It also completely buggers up any sensible sort of daytime routine! He goes to bed like a dream (touching lots of wood!!) and is good at daytime naps providing I get him there before he gets overtired - otherwise HELL! I've read GF cover to cover and she says "none of 'my' babies get up before 7am" anyone got any tips because I can't believe this!!!!

well my dd is non GF baby but is dream sleeper, she is now waking up earlier, due to daylight saving I am putting it down to, it will get better, remember birds are tweeting, noises are more punctuated at this time of year. Buy some blackout curtains and keep windows closed...

How old is he? is he weaned yet? Mine woke early when he hadn't had enough to eat or needed protein introducing/upping.
Otherwise growth spurt?
What do you do when he wakes that early? I think she says to feed them and try and help them back to sleep ie don't open curtains and start the day. If you go straight to him and feed him he may go back to sleep till 7am?
Also don't believe the hype! None of her babies ever do anything wrong ... in fact I don't think they cry or poo.
