will dream feeding help with longer spells of sleep?

My dd is 6 months and a terrible sleeper. She has many allergies and has been an unsettled baby since birth. But 6 months down the line nights just aren't any easier. She goes down at 7 and is restless within an hour. We can go into her around 5 times a night to pat her back to sleep. I only feed her once around 1 when she tends to cry a lot until fed. But I've just gone into her now to settle her (10.30pm) and could hear her belly growling so was wondering if she was hungry before her big wake up at 1. If I were to feed her when she's still asleep or just stirring about 11 would this make her sleep longer and when you dream feed would you take her out cot or feed her whilst lying down? Experiences and advice pretty please

I did the dream feed and it really helped us, but actually dropped the dreamfeed at 6/7 months as I was replacing milk with more food in the day.
