Wondering if anyone had any ideas on this issue cos now I'm at a loss.

We have a million 2 issues at night. DD is 8 months old, been crawling for about 2/3 weeks and is now pulling herself up on the bars of her cot. At the moment we go in, lay her down, tell her goodnight and leave. Mostly. She's made a great game of this but after a while she gets fed up and starts complaining. Which brings me to my next problem. I feel like we're being massively inconsistant and since it confuses me I'm sure it confuses her too.

We've only left her to cry it out once (never again) so when she starts complaining I don't know what to do. Going in there she's all smiles when she sees us. The minute we leave she starts wailing and is up the bars again until we get hyserical. Then when we pick her up she fights tooth and nail cos she wants a feed and I can't do another one so soon. She pinches and pulls so much it makes me sore.

Thing is when its just me at home (hubby works evenings) she's so much calmer. Feeds to sleep, easy to put down, no problems. She doesn't even play up when my mum's here now. So I don't know what to do seeing as she's so good for me. I have to leave my husband to do this when he's here as she just gets so angry at me if I try. But he's always doing something different, sometimes he leaves her to cry for a bit, quite often he gets annoyed and she'll go from tears to giggles in the blink of an eye which winds him right up. As we speak she's shrieking with happiness while he's in there with her.

We're just... stuck.
