How many times does/did your 1 month old baby wake in the night?

And by night I mean 7pm to 7am.
This is my second baby so should remember what's normal but DS1 is 6.
Currently DS2 does go down at 7 (which is amazing and DS1 didn't do for ages), then wakes for milk at 10, 1 and 4.
No memory of whether this is good or bad and this time don't have NCT gang to compare to.

At one month my DD cluster fed until around 10pm, was settled and in her Moses basket by about 11pm, then woke around every 2 hours for a feed until about 9am (ebf). I'd say going down at 7 then feeds every 3 hours is pretty good going at one month, that's what my 10 month old does now Sad.

Sounds fine to me.

DD got put in her moses basket jn the living room at 7pm then we would wake her at half ten ish, bum change and alittle few cuddles, some milk, then back down inour bedroom with us. She would then wake at 2.30 / 3 and seven.

Thanks both. Magical - that is exactly what DS1 did for first few months. Hacked - that is what I want DS2 to be doing!

Sounds brilliant.
Ive got 3 and not one of them had realised what night was at a month and would wake every hour or so for a feed and /or a cuddle.

Ahh he will get there name Grin

Completely normal - every three hours. My newborn woke every 2-3 hours (she's now 9 weeks).

According to the book I'm reading ('your baby week by week'). They start going a longer stretch, say five hours, when they get to around 8 weeks.

I think mine fell into 11/2/5 wake ups by about 8 weeks after going down about 8 (after cluster feeding stopped)

4 month regression threw that all out of the window though!!

DS1 is a month. We try and get him down at 8 but more often than not he'll cluster feed and fuss until we go to bed (about 10pm) than he'll go down in his co-sleeper for about 4 hours until 2am, feed, change then down for another 3/4 hours until 5/6am. Then he'll doze with me until about 8am.

Once. However night is 11pm-7am here.

So would feed baby in living room a few times between 7-11pm between napping next to us . At 11pm ish fed long feed then settled into cot in our room.
Woke around 3/4am -fed
Woke 7/8am - got up, then fed

I think the only way to potentially get one wake feed once you are in bed is to feed them more in the evening.
