5 year old waken up through the night

my 5 year old girl has been a great sleeper untill about 6monthes ago for some reason she has started to wake up at least 20times a night she still has a dummy i no she should get rid of it but she puts her dummy at the side of her then calls mum my rara is behined me all night long ive tryed every think taken it off her i cant cope with this any longer its like havin a newborn in the house again can any one help please

What happens if you ignore her calling?
What happens if you take the dummy away?
She is quite old to still have a dummy.
I think you may have to toughen up and stick out the screaming til she gives it up.
She is using this as a way of getting your attention.
If it was me I'd perhaps go in once. Give it back to her and then make it very clear that I wasn't coming back. Then I wouldn't be going back!
Unfortunately at the moment she's got used to you coming running. I think it's going to be a battle but you need to persevere.
