DD has generally been a good sleeper since doing gradual retreat about 7 months, a bit of crying down occasionally but nothing awful. Slept 7.30 to 7 and a good 2 hour nap. She recently graduated to the toddler room in nursery and is now even managing to sleep on a mat of the floor there.

All fine up to last Friday night, she went down ok, but woke screaming about 3.30 about 'bees' in her cot, she was absolutely hysterical until she finally fell asleep in our bed about 6am. Since this she absolutely won't go to sleep in her cot for naps or bedtime, she gets completely hysterical, and the bee thing is recurring and she keeps spotting specks on anything on the floor and crying 'bee bee', I had to get into the bath with her last night to prove there was no bee in it Confused. She is currently napping in our bed; last night she fell asleep with me in our bed but then we put her into her cot and she slept through no problem.

So my question is... is she really scared of 'bees' in her cot (I'm obviously going to check with nursery whether anything happened of Friday to trigger this), or has she now realised that mummy's bed is super comfy and nicer than her cot?! I'm considering changing cot into cot bed; putting double bed in her room; just going with the flow re using our bed and hoping this passes...any advice v welcome! We have a family wedding and holiday coming up so ideally need her to be back to sleeping well in 2 weeks Grin
