We have a 14 month old and she is normally a good sleeper, as she always use to drift off after her bottle.
Over the last month or so due to teething and the hot weather, she has ended up in bed with us most nights after not settling in her own room.
We are currently letting her drink her own bottle in her cot and then the plan is that she will drift off, at the moment the only way we can settle her is going back into her room, pinning her down and stroking her chest until she settles.
Then without failure is crying again at about 1am and she is getting herself into a complete paddy and we are unable to settle her without taking her out of her cot and either putting her in with us (where she goes straight to sleep) or by sitting with her until she's in a deep enough sleep and we can put her back in her cot.
We are having another baby in just over 2 months time so it's really important to get this sorted sooner rather than later.
Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated?
