Moses Basket/Crib - where to put baby in the day time?

Hello Hello
I am wondering if I should get a moses basket or crib for the baby. I wouldn't be able to move the crib easily for the baby to be with me in the lounge in the day time for example so what else can the baby sleep in?
Help need for a clueless first time Mum! Thank you!

I got a moses basket but only because I didn't get a bassinet for DD's buggy- I'd get one or the other. If the buggy/pram you get is or has a carrycot I'd use that for naps.

Mine's in her laid-completely-flat-and-strapped-in buggy now for naps anyway (unless I join her upstairs for one myself) because she outgrew the moses basket at 12 weeks Grin.

No harm in getting a cheap moses basket for downstairs. Mine wouldn't entertain going in one (nor the basinet in her pram). So she mostly slept on me/ in the sling during the day until she was 3 months old. We had a bed-side crib (Bed nest rented from NCT) for night time sleeps.
