But not at night? He's a week old, and during the day he sleeps in his bed nest quite happily - as long as his tummy's full and he's been winded, I can put him in it drowsy and he'll sleep for hours at a time.
At night though, he reacts as though that very same crib is an instrument of torture and screams if I put him in it. I've tried leaving the light on. I've tried leaving the side down and putting a hand on him. He will not settle unless brought the extra few inches to sleep by my side. Come morning, I can transfer him back in and he'll sleep in it for a couple more hours. But he won't spend the night in it.
Any ideas, anyone?
