5.5 month baby on holiday for a week

Hi
We are taking our 5.5 month baby boy on holiday to menorca. Plan to keep him cool in the day and at night follow same routine that he's used to ( bed at 7pm sleeps through..)
We want to make the most of our holiday and eat out in the evenings but not disturb his routine - did anyone find you could continue your routine with baby in pram for those evening hours then back into cot? How do you do it?

We have just come back from a week away with a 5 month old. We found the heat made him nap a bit more in the day than normal (or it could have been all the swimming) so bed time was maybe an hour later. I fed in the room in the dark then put down in buggy. Once asleep covered the buggy with a muslin and went outside to eat/ drink at beach bar. If he woke up one of us just walked him up and down for a bit until he went back asleep.

we went back to the room about midnight and transferred to travel cot asleep (DS still feeds through the night so I made this a dreamfeed)

It was honestly loads easier than I thought. The only thing is I fed to sleep quite a bit during the week and it has taken the best part of a week to break this and get back properly into our old routine.

Yes, it's doable. I've done it with a baby younger than 5 months so its a slightly different ballgame but bedtime was in the pram, then transferred to the travel cot when we returned for bed. It was surprisingly stressfree.
