My baby is going through the 4 mth regression arrrrgggh

However , he has a soft toy that seems to calm him to sleep when napping. It's a small-ish velour half blanket half duck thingy, he rubs it on his face and he drifts off . Now I'm happy with this for naps as I can keep an eye out, but would this be safe to give him of a night in his cot? Of course I'm loving anything that can help him sleep right now .....but is it dangerous? Could he suffocate or choke?

Sorry if this sounds silly but I'm a first time mum !

My ds has a tiger toy that's mainly a little blanket about 20cm x 20cm. He's liked to sleep with something on his face since he was tiny. I used to keep an eye on him then, & pop back in & pull it off his face once he was asleep. Now he's nearly 3 I just leave him to it.

We also have a spare in case he loses one!

My DD always slept with a comforter of that type. I'd also recommend buying a spare one in case it gets lost!
