My 2 year old won't sleep in his bed

My DS has recently turned 2 and won't sleep in his bed, he used to be great at sleeping in his cot then he started struggling to sleep. We thought maybe it was because he wanted a big boys bed (like his brothers that he shares a small box room with) and not to feel caged in but he won't even sleep upstairs now he sleeps on the sofa, we even put the sides back on his cot. We also sleep downstairs anyway so keep an eye on him but really would like him in a proper bed. He also has started being sick when getting upset and no it isn't intentional sickness! The pead thinks he may well be autistic although we didn't experience this problem with our other 2 that are autistic. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks x
