Hi guys, my 7 month old just wont sleep. I thought I'd won the lottery win my lo he was a great sleeper from a newborn, came to bed with us about 10ish, went straight to sleep, then woke about 4-5 for a feed then slept again till 8-9 am. Thought I was the luckiest parent on the planet, transition to drop night feed went great, at 6 months went into his own room, slept the same. I know parents try to put there lo to bed early but he's always gone to bed with us at 10ish, it worked for him and worked for us.
We've had the teething waking as he got his 1st 2 teeth a few weeks ago, then he went back to sleeping through again. Now he's just awake, sometimes asleep and just groaning, other times crying, then he's just playing at 4am. I've had about 5hours sleep in 3 days, and it can't be good for him, although he's his same self all day, I just don't understand it. Anyone had this? Or any tips?
Tryed putting him to bed earlier, made him worse. Tried rocking him. Tried leaving my dressing gown near his cot in case its seperation. Tried leaving him but I just can't do that ...I feel like a terrible mum cos I can't do right by him x

Calpol and nurofen for the teething first off. If things are really bad will he sleep in with you for a little while and perhaps if you get a few decent nights that way you will feel better and can try him in his cot again

what is his daytime sleep like?

Yea gave him nurofen for his teeth and ashton & parsons, got through those 2 teeth, but he was waking with his pain crying with those, this is different. He usually sleeps fine on his own, n we have no room in ours for his cot (small terrace) has 3 20-30 min naps morning, after lunch then after dinner. We slipped into the routine of rocking to sleep for naps, then at bedtime I lay him in his cot, put his night light on and play his 2 songs, he nods off on his own. We've always done this. I'm just really scratching my head now, I don't understand what's waking him, its like he's suddenly lost the ability to put himself back to sleep x
