Has anyone hired a bednest direct from the manufacturer?

It's quite a bit cheaper than hiring one from the NCT but I don't know of anyone else who has hired from them and I'm wondering how reliable they are.

Yes, I did. Happy to answer any questions. Had a problem with delivery when it didn't arrive on the specified date but that was the courier's fault, not Bednest's, and they were really good about sorting it out. They did a load of chasing up to rearrange delivery and refunded me the delivery charge.

Oh that's encouraging! I took the plunge earlier this evening but was a bit unnerved that the receipt they emailed didn't have the delivery date on it that I'd put on the form-or any delivery date actually. Might call them tomorrow to confirm it. I took the £6 insurance in case of damage too as I'm a bit nervous of renting and them saying it was damaged when it wasn't.

I met them at baby show - seem lovely people. We booked rental from them. If you email them with question you get an answer almost anytime of day! X
