I've Heard this is a life saver. I have a very unsettled 5 week old who struggles to sleep at all. I am now debating with husband whether spending out on this sheep will be worth it. we've tried different things but I'm willing to try and he's not!!! what are people's views on this and would you recommend?

Does your DC settle with white noise (hoover, hairdryer, etc)? Ewan is just a form of white noise. I didn't find it particularly effective as it's not very loud but every baby is different.

We found it fairly effective for DS (never a good sleeper) but FANTASTIC for us! Seriously, Ewan is incredibly soporific. In the end we had two, one in the cot and one in our bed, supposedly for when DS came in with us but sometimes we just turned it on ourselves for instant oblivion!

It's also quite a good "sleep cue" if you always use it. DS is 17 months now and understands that Ewan = bedtime.

You can get white noise apps from 69p so maybe test with a cheaper option first.

We use white noise but mainly to block out noise from
neighbours.

I had 2 and both packed up within 2 nights - I gave up after that and just used white noise

Good to help get our dd to sleep from about 7 weeks ( with swaddling as very fussy baby) but Found she woke up when it went off (15 mins), so we ended up with white noise cd of rain on a loop very low all night. She still has it at 6 months in her own room and when the cd goes on it seems to signal that it's time to sleep. We even have it on the iPad and iPod for trips away, seems to help. Just weaning it now and making it quieter every night.

Would second previous poster that although Ewan didn't work too well for dd we found we were asleep within minutes!

Worked for us, stopped using it at about 6 months old and didn't have any issues with him missing it.
