dd2 generally wakes up now sometime after half 9. dreamfeed is from 10pm ish. it pushes her through until after 3 am and the last few weeks have been the best in her 8 months on this earth. should we just carry on and call it a feed then now Grin ?

Have you tried giving her more milk/food through the day? Might just be hungrier and need more to fill her up through the whole day/night now!
I find my DD sleeps better the more I 'tank her up'!!! Nice big dinner followed by a nice big bottle meant she actually started to refuse the dream feed!

thanks - I guess that is the solution. I think it won't have helped that I was at work today doing a kit day and ahea hardly had any...

Just feed her. Job done.

We had this, she was sometimes waking up about 15-30 minutes before we intended to feed her (at approx 5.5 months old). With the dream feed she had been sleeping through from 7 til 6:30ish. On a whim, on one of the nights she didn't wake up before the dream feed, we just decided not to give it, and see what happened. To our utter surprise, she slept through, we've not given the DF since then and she has continued to sleep through (with the exception of the last week, with teething-related issues). This was about a month ago now.

Not saying it's the solution, but may be worth trying to cut it out. If no joy, just reintroduce.

thansk for your suggestion. I was toying with that. she hasn't done it for a couple of days now and last night didn't wake up at 3ish. so I'm hoping that continues and then we might be able to drop it finally!
