my 10month old takes forever to settle at night

My 10 month old has slept through the night since 6months but the past few weeks she is taking forever to settle at night! She used to be in bed for half 7 but now I'm lucky if I can get her in bed before 10! If I do I end up getting her back out as she won't settle. I've tried changing her naps in the day and making sure she has a bottle at bedtime but no luck! Can anyone suggest anything that might help, thanks x

I've had the same with my 9 month old. She wants to stay up and play! I have a feeling it's the lighter nights.. The past couple of nights I've closed over the curtains and made it dark while getting her ready for bed/giving last feed and she's accepted bed time a lot better.
I could be wrong though and it's just a coincidence!

Yes I definitely think that the lighter evenings isn't helping.
However, if you want some practical tips on how to get your child to wind down ready for bed please have a look at my baby massage and acupressure blog post. I had a difficult time with my daughter and these small steps really helped her chill out and settle easily.
