3 a day. As long as I can get her to go down for each. First one about 8 for an hour. Second at 11 til 1 and the third 2:30 til 3:30ish. Nap no later than 3:30. That's a rough outline but if I see she's tired, rubbing her eyes/yawning etc I get her to nap earlier. Generally she has between 2 hours of awake time between naps. I will be watching this thread with interest though as I have no idea if thats right?!

Dd normally has 4 naps because she won't sleep for longer than half an hour at a time. Sometimes might get 45 or 60 min but she's gone longer than that a handful of times. I agree with delbot about 2 hours awake and she's definitely tired, sometimes sooner.

Delbot does your dd go to bed at 5.30?

Three or four depending on how long the naps have been. We generally have around 2-2.5 hours between naps; longer if we're out with people - this child is very nosy. I would love for a longer nap time, but those are infrequent.

DS normally does 3:
First around 9am for 45 mins to 1 hour
Second around 12pm for about 2 hours
Third around 4.30pm for about 15 - 30 mins - but he is slowly dropping this nap as it depends on when he wakes from his lunch time sleep as to whether he wants it.
If he does not have a late nap then he is in bed by 6.30pm!
