How many have two year olds that cry before bed time? or do your kids just listen and go to bed?

My daughter is good at sleeping...she sleeps 12 hours straight through every night and RARELY wakes at night (knock wood). However, lately, most of the time she fights going to sleep and I have to put her to bed crying and walk out of room. Before she would do that sometimes, but most of the time be happy to go to bed.

We have been staying with her grandparents the past month, so this could be it...the excitement of being with the grandparents and all the fun...I hate leaving her to cry every night. It only lasts a couple of minutes. Once in a while would be fine...but every night...I am starting to feel bad. Problem if I stay with her she would take hours to sleep and if I keep reading to her...she would make me read for hours! I read 3-5 books a night and sometimes more. They are of course short books. ButI read to her anywhere between 15-45 minutes a night...depending how late it is.

She is the same for nap time...really fights it and cries a lot. But once she sleeps..she sleeps for a good 2-3 hours for nap time. Its the same with bed time...fights it...but doesnt matter what time i put her to bed bc she will fight it....
