I thought babies were supposed to love grobags.

Mine gets all tetchy because she gets it all twisted round her.

Rubbish, rubbish sleeper anyway - currently waking pretty much every 2 or 3 hours per night (she's nearly 15 months) - but what should I use now to keep her warm folks?

we used to be able to get 'sleepsuits' in yesteryear

it was like a baby-gro but fleecy like a dressing gown and sort of plasticky covered soles so they could run around in them - sizes to fit toddlers too.

don't know whether you can still get them

I have this roblem with DD - after DS loved his I am amazed that DD doesn't .

I think Mothercare still do the fleecy sleepsuits - I will be investigating.

Vertbaudet do velour pjs with feet on, like this which kept ds cosy last winter, although he was also wearing a summerweight sleeping bag with it.

lol popsy. don't worry about the book, will only need it when apply plan b (her own room!)

jt and mt - have put her in one of those fleecy things tonight, expect a miracle cure now

i have a couple of ds1;s fleec y sleep suits that he only wore camping....

ds2 would hate those too - he is a sweaty kind of child

Jools I had some of those for ds (5years) when he was little as well. Think they were from somewhere really cheap, can't remember where although one might have been adams. They were fab had little rubbery dots on the feet to stop them slipping over. Will keep an eye out.

Think you can use a duvet after 1 if thats any help.

Do you know why she wakes up...is she in her own room. We find that dd (13 months) occasionally mumurs in her sleep and as long as you leave her alone and stay quiet she goes back to sleep.

Sorry that post took ages to write!

If your dd is still in your room do you think you and dp are disturbing her. Both of mine slept through the night they moved into their own rooms, ds was 2 weeks and dd was 1 week. They disturbed us and we definatly disturbed them when they came into lighter sleep which is every few hours I believe. Might be worth biting the bullet and letting her be alone and then not controlled crying as such but just giving her five minutes to have a chance to go back to sleep before you go in.

Hope you don't mind the suggestions if you've tried it already just ignore me.

Neena - she wakes up because is in our room and am in bad habit of feeding her to sleep - still bf. If didn't the screams are unimaginably shocking. One day will tackle this but whilst have nobhead neighbour who shouts and thumps walls when she does scream, can't face it atm.

Have you tried any other comfort substitutes other than you. My dd can't sleep without a taggie book in the bed she now has two in at a time!

You must be knackered...not helping now sorry. xx

yes- I think I said at the time that I would get one like a shot. Remember my partner being rather perturbed by that idea!

she's not attached to any toys really. awkward baby

3 viewings so far, and one already been for 2nd time. daren't get hopeful, take it as it comes...trying anyway.

tinker, it was Boden - a few years ago they were selling an all in one boys sleepsuit for ages up to 12 years. I have also seen adult fleecy growbags advertised (colour ads in the sunday clolur supplements).They show an elderly person cosy in a fleecy growbag, sitting on a chair watching television.
