My ds is in his own bedroom, and we are buying him a new bed in the next month. At the moment, we don't have a spare room, so dd is in our room. We are now thinking of letting them share a bedroom, but dd is not the best sleeper.
Is this "hopeful wishing"!!

I put ds2 (5.5 months) in with ds1 (3.4 yrs) about a month ago. Ds2 sleeps through all ds2's crying, moaning and snuffling - no problem!

What is harder is keeping ds1 quiet when he goes to bed a bit later than ds2 - he almost always wakes. It's also tricky stopping ds1 from going in and out of his room during the day when ds2 is asleep.

Having said all that, I'm glad I did it as it means I sleep a bit better!

DD1 and DD2 share a room. They are 3 and 2 and have shared for quite a while now.
They sleep through each other waking.

I heard from a MW that as they are not each others responsibility they will not hear each other through the night - obviously going to bed time is different!
