In Australia there is an association called 'Tresilian' (sp?) that runs 'sleep hotels' where mothers and babies go to get their sleep problems sorted out with expert advice. Does this sort of thing exist in the UK?

If you need help or respite I am free for a month starting 26th March, whereabouts are you??

Same applies to anyone needing nanny, maternity/doula help, I'd love to help mumsnetters and I have free time during school hols

That sounds great, Alibubbles, but I am really hoping for some kind of 'training' that would give me long-term solutions! My mother is staying until 8 April anyway so I don't think I'll be driven round the bend until then.

My HV offered to help out a friend who had great problems with her ds's sleep. The friends dh was out of the country for 6 months and there was no family close to help. So the HV offered to sleep in for a week to help out.
