Hi, I am new on here so hope I have posted this correctly. I have an 8 month old son who has up until now been a great sleeper. He goes to bed at 6pm, falls asleep by himself, I do a dreamfeed at 10pm and then he sleeps through till 8am! A dream! However, over the last week he keeps flipping over in his sleep and cant fall back to sleep facing over the other way. The difficulty is he also can't flip himself back over. I'm unsure how best to approach this.
Do I
A. Keep going in and turning him back over theoughout the night and keep practice rolling in the day time to help him get the skill - problem with this I roll him over and before I leave the room he has flipped back around again.
B. go in and reassure him when he is crying and wait for him to learn to fall asleep the other way round - I tried this the other night and he screamed non stop for 2 hours and then threw up - I was reasuring him, patting him, sitting where he could see me but it didn't help his tears or my own!
Or C something totally different. I have no idea how is best to approach this. He is too old/strong for a positioner etc.
Any help would be greatly recieved! I have read a few things online by people in similar positions but not seen any solutions ir suggestions.
