We have a nearly 9 week old who hates sleeping in the day but really needs her sleep. After weeks of rocking and shushing til i feel like im going mad, we have discovered these mechanised swing chair things that, from looking online, seem to have helped a lot of people get their little ones to sleep. I'm wondering whether people have had experience of using chairs for this purpose rather than to amuse babies and which ones you'd recommend? Mamaroo and the Graco Peace ones seem popular, and the tiny love one looks great as its essentailly a carry cot but the swing isnt mechanised as far as i can see? I dont think just vibrations will cut it with our little monster, she is hooked on being rocked or being in the sling! Advice really appreciated, we dont to spend a fortune on something that doesnt work.
