So he goes to bed at 6.15pm? I think as he gets older and needs less sleep, you will struggle to get him to sleep more than 12 hours at night.

Mine go down between 6.30 and 7, and are usually up between 5.30 and 6, DD2 (13months) then goes back for nap around 8.15, which neatly coincides with the school run for me (and the CM on my working days). Try as I might, I can't get them to sleep later without putting them to bed later.

i know, i agree but putting him down 6.15 was making him sleep later. hes a screaming mess by about 6pm Shock maybe hes changing again and i need to tweak naps?

When does he nap in the day?

i think some people who are late risers themselves can assume waking early is some kind of anomaly.

probably not what you want to hear but my ds is nearly 7 and somewhere between 5.30 and 6am is still his natural wake up time.

i am now the exactly the same and don't lie in past that even if i'm on my own in the house.

sorry - he might just be an early riser - we need them Smile
