Right

This is it.
I have 2 days left at work. Monday and Thursday. Then I am off for 6 weeks.
He is 16 months old now.
Settles himself to sleep at night totlaly fine.
Naps all sussed in the days.
Eats okish during the day.

Does NOT need night feeds but still has them.
Is aking 2-3 times a night on average and I invariably bring him into bed...through if I get my mind on it, I can feed him briefly and put him back in his cot and he will settle.

I have a pile of tesco vouchers which I have vowed i will exchanged for a night in a lovely hotel BY MYSELF when he sleeps through ...or at least wakes without feeding.

Monday night I am starting,.
Please hold me to it!

Go Popsy, go!

I still hold by what I have posted before.

He WILL do it! You CAN do it!

You will love life so much when you have done it!

Just imagine, going to sleep AND NOT WAKING UP AGAIN UNTIL MORNING!!!

popsycal · 16/07/2006 20:10

OMG i cant imagine that!!!!
I will do it,

he is loads 'easier' these days and I think he is much more 'ready' if that makes sense

Give yourself a couple of days to relax into the holidays. those first few days of summer holidays can be funny ones - still winding not and not quite there.

Set yourself a day this week of when to start and go for it then.

Good luck. He WILL do it!

popsycal · 18/07/2006 20:27

Good luck Popsy - I'd lost track of how you were doing as I'm not around as much as I used to be.

Sounds as though things are loads better already so grit your teeth and I know you'll get it sorted.

Agree though that too hot tonight - should be cooler at the weekend.
