well whoop de dooo

I was about to enter the hell that is Controlled Crying so she may have sensed the impending doom.

But last week we had just about had enough, I was lying down getting her to sleep, then she was always in our bed etc.

So at 7pm it was kiss daddy, clean teeth, in cot. She said 'nooooooooooooooooooooooo' when we turned right to her room instead of left to ours but after about 5 mins the whimpering stopped. Woke up after an hour, but a quick pat and she was off.

Now I don't want to tempt fate but > she has been great ever since.

Do you think they just are ready sometimes and some children take an age to learn to sleep? dd1 was COMPLETELY different.
