All of a sudden he seems so scared. Desperate to get out of cot at bedtime and seems
Really scared. Then up in middle of the night absolutely beside himself.

Spent a few nights sleeping on the floor in there but know it is madness. Trying to be tough and just go in and reassure every ten mins. Is that the right thing to do? I just don't know. It seems like there is so much less advice out there than for babies.

Help help I am so exhausted.

I wish I had some answers for you because I'm going through something similar with my ds 2.2. He's happy enough going to bed but will wake screaming. I ended up watching the bloody gruffalo at 2am this morning because couldn't find a way to calm him. Know I'm making a rid for my own back but don't know what to do....Hmm
Thinking of you OP

Could you co-sleep for a few nights as a temporary measure? Perhaps your ds has developed a phobia of some sort & needs you close as reassurance.
