Help how do I get my 7 month old to nap again?

My dd is 7 months old and for the last couple of months has had a 30 minute nap at 9ish then a 2 hour nap at 1. She has just started this week to fight both naps- sitting up or standing in her cot laughing and giggling. Today she went down at 1.15 and woke again at 1.30. The thing is it really affects how she feeds (we are breastfeeding) and also sleeps at night. She is getting overtired by bedtime and really ratty.
How can I persuade her to nap properly again? I feed her before naps and she dozes on me but I make sure she is awake when she is put in her cot.
Thanks

Don't make sure she's awake when she goes into the cot. You're probably waking her up and she cannot resettle. If she's asleep, then leave her be for naps. I don't think it makes a difference to night sleep if self settles for day naps - certainly doesn't with dd or ds. Dd self settles for bed but will fall asleep on my boob for a nap and I wait until she's fast asleep then pop down in cot.
