Do you wake your toddler from a nap?

DS is 17mo. He naps for around 2hours in the daytime. Today he napped for 2hours 30minutes which I know he needed because each night since the clock change he has been grumpy but I wondered if I should wake him after a length of time. If we are needing to go out and I ever wake him (normally around the 2hours mark) he is very upset and cries. He has been waking early in the morning since the clock change but normally he sleeps from 7.30/7.45pm to 7/8am. This week it's been more like 7.30pm - 6am.

I used to wake mine so there was at least three hours of awake time before bedtime and this seemed to work well.

I do wake my 23 mo DTs after around 2 hours otherwise they will sleep for 3 hours and not go to bed in the evening
I tend to just open the curtains and then just walk out of the room and let them wake up naturally, otherwise if I get 20 mins of double screaming!

Only if we are going somewhere. I have also been known to sing/talk to them to try and keep them awake in the car if it's too close to bedtime!

Oh I'm jealous. Mine sleeps 7-5.30 with about an hours nap!!

I always wake DS from his nap, if I don't he takes ages to settle at bedtime. He has maximum 1 1/2 hours unless I want him to stay up a bit later, then I let him sleep a bit longer.
