Sleep/grow bags, ok for 11mth old?

Is it ok to use a sleep bag for a VERY wriggly 11moth old, who also likes to sleep on his belly?

I suspect DS is waking because he is cold due to always kicking off his covers.

Many thanks x

Yes!!! My eldest had then until 20 months, my youngest is nearly 2 and still sleeps in one. They're brilliant.

And they are both tummy sleepers.

WheresMyCow · 30/10/2013 08:39

Definitely okay, they are one of the best ideas ever. Get him in it, he will sleep much better Smile

Yes my ds went into one as soon as he was big enough at a few months old and still sleeps in one now he's nearly 2. He wriggles everywhere so they are brilliant. Get one with zip down the front not top poppers as they pop out of the popper ones.

LOL, thank you ladies. Off to the shops! Xx

LOL ( Wink)

Mine are autumn/winter babies, and were all in sleeping bags at 1-3 months old.

And stayed in sleeping bags until they graduated from cot to bed at 3.5ish yo.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 30/10/2013 08:57

Of course. Sleeping bags are best for wriggly babies/toddlers. Mine was in one till 2.6yo. And only stopped because she can unzip herself and refused to go into one. I often found her outside of her duvet at night.

Absolutely - Ds 14 mo has been in them since 2 mo. Recently had to quickly buy a front zipper as he learnt how to get out of the top popper ones (vvv annoying) so 2nd that advice! I'm actually not sure how anyone copes without them.

My 11 month old is in 6-18 month size. Loads of room for wriggling. I get them off eBay if you don't mind 2nd hand. Loads cheaper and always well looked after. :-)

Absolutely!
