I am really really struggling with bedtime just now I don't know what to doSadSad

If you have a dc in school and a baby/toddler what is your bedtime routine like ? Ds just screams when he is put to bed I end up having to go in with him til he falls asleep which is not ideal when I also have an 8yo to get bathed hair dried supper and bed at the same time . I feel like I need to split myself in two and I'm beginning to get really stressed and frustrated with it I really just do not know how to coordinate our bedtime . Which is making me feel useless and to be honest a bit thick Sad

I'm not getting anything done the house is a mess I'm like a zombie I'm not getting to bed til after midnight most nights and I'm up at 6.30 for work . I'm completely done in .

Sorry for the rambling but if anyone has any help I would really appreciate it .

I have a 5 yo ds and a sleep fighting 8m old and can sympathise! Routine (which is not rigid, although trying to get better at it)
6pm dinner for both
6.45 run bath/breastfeed dd
7 bath both together, take dd out after 5 mins while ds plays, dress her
7.10 take ds out, dress him for bed, dd either comes with me to his room or if she's in a good mood I leave her to play in the cot
7.30 ds bedtime story and lights out
7.45 dd to sleep - at the moment mostly bf to sleep Altho working on that

We have a later bedtime than most as 7pm is just too early for them and they don't sleep, I'd like to get it earlier if poss
