Hi my dd2 is 4 months and was in a great routine, bath at 6 , massage , story , bottle then zonked out by 6.45pm. I would dream feed at 10 then she would wake at 4 then 7 which was great.
We ate out once where she went to bed later as every one was passing her round and it not been the same since.
She was getting so overtired by 6 she was hysterical by the time she had got dressed after bath, couldnt have massage or book or bottle and cried self to sleep. So then she would wake at 9 , 12, 1.30 and every couple of hours after. She has also stopped having long sleeps during day and will only nap for 20 mins or so.

Last night she went down at 7 and was looking like getting back on track but was worse night ever so ended up getting up at 5.

When she does nod off its restless and she throws her legs in the air, I'm holding her now asleep and she is jerking and wriggling all over.

She is formula fed and on the 91 percentile for weight and height. Could it be teething as she is dribbling a lot or maybe silent reflux which I thought she had when first born . Also I've just moved her to cot from bassinet but its literately against my side of bed so not far away.

I'm that tired I'm hallucinating ! Sorry if its hard to read as baby's on my chest and my eyes are on fire!

Google the four month sleep regression. Babies sleep habits change all the time. You'll get through it - just remember it is a phase.

Ah, don't blame yourself for going out once to eat, it might have thrown things that day and the next but unfortunately it is much more likely that you are going through the dreaded four-month sleep regression. It is hell. Google it. You will get through it.

I blamed our four month sleep regression on the fact we went on holiday :-)
