My 4 month old screams like she's being murdered when she's tired. I am going with the flow, breastfeeding on demand, helping her sleep when at home by reading sleep cues. I can keep my head above the water at home. The problem is when we are out and about. She cries in the pram, car seat (in and out of the car), trolley, being held, not being held, in the sling, in the swing, rocked - basically anything that is not my boob (but even that's a struggle if she gets overtired). And obviously whilst pushing a trolley round sainsbury's it's not the most practical thing to do. I found myself telling her on the way home from shopping that it's just not fair as other babies are having a great time and then just fall asleep with the movement of the trolley. She does fall asleep eventually but there's at least 30 minutes of full on "I'm getting murdered" screaming! I feel trapped in my house, and with an energetic toddler too it's just not practical. Any tips or should I just plough on?
