Help for anyone struggling with sleep in London?

Hi All,
Having struggled with DD who took till she was 9 months to nap and sleep properly I decided I needed help sleepwise when DS at 4 months started to go the same way, up all night, no napping and lots of walking the streets at 4am!!I was thinking of a sleep clinic when a friend recommended a lovely lady who has worked with babies and toddlers for over twenty years. She was absolutely brilliant and sorted DS in a week so he's a much happier baby and a much better sleeper. She's based in London, can sort out just about any problem and is very gentle, she even bought DD felt tips when she came to visit! She doesn't believe in controlled crying and works with you to get your confidence back so any solution she gives you, you know how to implement it - she also helps get you onto a schedule that suits you and the baby as well as siblings. She follows up with you and is at the end of the phone should you need her. I wanted to let any of you in London know she's around as she really saved me and for me she was more affordable and more practical than a sleep clinic. If anyone is interested in talking to her let me know and I'll send you her contact details.

Glad you found a solution Fisha. It wasn't Andrea Grace was it? She's a goddess in our house and I'd do anything for her Smile

If anybody wants to employ amumsnetter to do the same there is always mmeee too! Grin

I don't 'not believe in cc' because I work with whatever the parental preferences are which sometimes means using techniques similar to cc.

I do not abandon or leave a baby crying for longer than 2 mins however, under any circs.
