6mnth old daughter only sleeps thru night when her dads here :-(

Was wonderin if anyone cld help as my daughter likes being rocked 2 sleep in bouncer & when ive gone 2 put her in cot she always wakes up or theres the odd time she will sleep in there for a bit b4 wakin for milk.I try putting her in there awake shes ok for one min then she gets really upset.Just feel shes never going 2 settle herself 2 sleep or sleep in her cot all night for me.When her dad comes dwn he wlks up & dwn room with her til she falls asleep puts her in cot she sleeps til 6am

Are you breastfeeding her? If you are breastfeeding it may be she smells you and wants milk and cuddles. My daughter is 12 months old and has never slept through the night. It will get better eventually. 6 months old may be too early for your daughter to self settle. I would try putting her in the cot, but stay right next to her and gradually moving farther away until she can settle by herself. This worked for my daughter until she started teething again. No im not breastfeeding but Im still leakin breastmilk im going for tests 2 c y its happinin when ive never breastfed with either of my girls.Yeah think I may have 2 start sittin in there with her I had 2 do that with my eldest sit in room til she went 2 sleep.I think my little one is teethin but no sign of teeth yet shes bitin dwn hard on things,dribblin loads & has red cheeks
