So I decided a bit of time back that I needed to wean DD off feeding to sleep as it had started to take up to 2 hours and my nipples couldn't take it. We have gradually done this and now amazingly I can feed her, put down fully awake, leave the room & she goes to sleep. By the way I don't really think this just down to my amazing skills I think she was just ready to do this.
However she is still waking 1-3 hrly all night, generally but not every time wanting to be fed. She is in a side car cot to our bed but isn't going to last in it much longer as she is getting too big & too mobile. I don't know what to do next. Would her own room help? I am getting an ok amount of sleep ( this being a relative term, my prebaby self would be horrified!) but am back at work 3.5 days a week so am a bit scared of getting less! Any ideas?? She is 7 months.

Being in her own room should help as she's less likely to be woken when in her own room, but if she does still wake then there's no boob nearby to tempt her!
If you've got to the stage where you can just put her down and leave then she shouldn't mind being on her own room.

My 7 month old has to sleep in our room(2 bedroom house with 41/2 yr in other bedroom). He will settle on his own in day and I put him to bed awake at 7 pm but he is still waking every 3/4 hours and will not go back to sleep when he wakes at 4.30! I am down stairs with him at 5 most days! I have tried controlled crying but in this heat all the windows are open and I think he woke baby next door as she started screaming as well ! I also worry about waking 4 1/2 yr as he's has ASD. Back at work now so need to sort this!
