Can I have a bit of help with my one year olds sleeping please?

DD has always been a horrible sleeper. She is still BF but only morning and night as I've stopped feeding in the day.

However, she feeds through the night too. The last few nights she has fed all through the night and I'm so tired, I just can't do it anymore.

I don't think I'm doing half the stuff I should be in the day with her because I'm just so tired and drained. This is how I've felt since she was born.

She starts in her cot and will do from 8pm-11pm, sometimes straight through and other times needs to be settled.

After 11pm it goes to pot. We try and feed her and put her in her cot but she's usually awake within 5 minutes so comes into our bed for the night, but we don't really mind.

DH wants to try CC but we did that when she was a bit younger and I found it so hard so I would rather not do that again. What else can I do?

I'm at the point now where I want her to go to nursery so someone else can deal with her in the day, someone that can give her the help to develop as she needs to.

My advice for what it's worth is to go cold turkey with night feeds. She doesn't need all that milk in the night and you need to sleep. When she wakes send DH in to her to settle her down, give her a cuddle or offer her some water. Once she stops getting milk in the night you might then find she wakes up less. Then you can tackle the remaining wake ups with gradual withdrawal or rapid return which doesn't have to involve a lot of crying. Hope that helps :-))
